Welcome to our newest member!!!

Joe King of Burleson, Texas joined the KI STAR Team today. According to Joe he has been fishing "a long time". He fishes rivers, streams, lakes, ponds, and tanks. His favorite species are bass, sand bass, and crappie.

Here's a little bio about him written by him:

There’s nothing I like more than being outside with nature, and fellowshipping with people that share the same interest as I do. I have been a sportsman since I was 14 years old. Everything between skipping rocks on a pond to making a bow and arrow. As I have gotten older I have discovered that fishing is my passion, there’s nothing I like more than being on the water in a kayak, that’s as close as you can get to being blessed by what nature has to offer.

Welcome aboard Joe! We look forward to many fun days on the water with you.

BTW, he should be picking up his yellow jacket Cuda with rudder this week!!!

Outreach Event April 14, 2012

The KI STAR Team participated in the 2012 Grapevine Kayak G2G that benefited Heroes on the Water. We took a number of demo boats which spent most of the day on the water. We also had Jerry Hamon's fully rigged Cuda on display and answered lots of kayak fishing related questions throughout the day. The event drew a large a large crowd and at the end of the day we had collected close to $900 for HOW.
